| Carmen is a dynamic speaker full of passion and energy. With her down to earth style, she is able to connect with her audiences at all levels. One of her favorite poems is "If" by Rudyard Kipling and she has really taken the message of that poem to heart. Carmen can go from the Prison to the Pulpit to Park Avenue and meet each group just the same. She has a heart for God and a desire to let all know that God has a plan and purpose for their lives. It is from this premise that Carmen has been called "The Purpose Preacher." Carmen believes "When you find your purpose, it becomes your passion and you can no longer be passive." Carmen speaks on a variety of issues and topics, from relationships to communication to self-esteem, and of course, purpose. She is an outspoken advocate for HIV/AIDS education and prevention, especially among youth and young adults within the African American faith community. Here are just a few of her titles.
